About us
Water, Earth and Air
Green tea, grown through the benevolence of Mother Nature, has a highly positive effect on our body and improves the state of our health.
The method of preparing the tea, engaging with all of the heart, perfectly represents the Zen spirit that savours the moment and focuses on things in the present.
CHACHAYA showcases tea and its culture through workshops in Milan. CHACHAYA offers this experience by presenting high quality, naturally grown teas. By preparing the tea with care you can enjoy the process and the moment in complete tranquillity.

Japanese Tea Experience

Tea grown in Japan
with a natural method
Our teas are all grown in Japan. The Japanese producers are committed to making teas that are kind and generous to both man and the earth, through various means and with meticulous care.
The tea leaves, which impart to us their passion and ardour, are good and healthy both in their drinking and their eating. The teas we present are all grown in perfect harmony with nature, as in the sweetness of past.

Tea culture and Zen
The preparation of tea using the teapot, as in the traditional tea ceremony, represents true Japanese culture. The preparation of tea, while concentrating on every gesture and with a serene soul, embodies the Zen spirit which appreciates the present. Make tea calmly and thoughtfully focusing on the moments we have before us. Japanese tea according to tradition is also an experience to enjoy.

High value nutrients
Green tea contains many healthy substances such as vitamins and minerals, and has multiple positive effects: it helps digestion, prevents obesity and counteracts hypertension. It also detoxifies and combats ageing, becoming an elixir of beauty and health. Until recently it was customary in Japan to drink Sencha tea at every meal. It may therefore be that the Japanese have unconsciously kept themselves healthy thanks to the habit of drinking tea in everyday life.
